EXP, Level, & Affinity

Pulling a good Artist is only half the battle, they need to of course be cared for and raised. Artists earn Experience Points or EXP as they go through the game and experience battles. When an Artist reaches certain thresholds their Agent can go to a Jam Space building to spend their EXP and convert it into Levels. Leveling Up provides a chance for some of that Artist’s Stats to increase, and this is based on the Artist’s Affinity in that given Stat.

Additionally, an Agent can visit a Talent Agency building to further refine their Artists, dismissing ones that they do not need in order to get currency to refine the Artists they are using.

Artist EXP

Artists can store up as much EXP as they want to, with the limit based only on how big we can let the number get in our code.

By itself EXP does nothing, it needs to be harnessed through a Jam Space to actually provide any benefits.

Artist Levels

The amount of Artist EXP needed to level up becomes increasingly more expensive with each level up based on the table below

Affinity

When an Artist levels up, their Stats will increase (up to the cap set by Rarity). The random chance is set by a hidden value that isn't directly displayed to the player called Affinity. Affinity ranges from a minimum and maximum value and determines how likely a given Stat is to increase, and if it does by how much.

Levels can be reset in the game for an exchange of in-game currency at a high enough level Jam Space. See Jam Space for more information
